Hey there, thanks for checking out my website. I opened City Tails in 2010 and took a little hiatus due to, I don’t know, the end of the world? But now that we’ve all learned how to semi-cope with our new reality, I’m back in business taking care of my most favorite things, kittos and puppos! I’ve loved these little fur balls ever since I can remember. I always wanted to care for animals and even had dreams of being a vet as a kid. That was until my grandmother got me a short lived volunteer job at her local vet’s office at 10. During my time there, I got to sit in on a surgery. The vet made me stand under the AC vent because I was looking a tad bit pale. Yeah, so, blood, not my thing. Laser pointers and playing fetch, more my jam. During what I'll call my ‘down time’ over the past couple of years, I did a lot of self reflecting, thinking about the future and what I’m hoping it will look like. I have four awesome nieces and at the present moment, their future seems to be looking a lot more like what their grandmother’s looked like and I’m not with that. What I want to see in the future is more women in positions of power. More women judges, lawyers, policy makers, doctors, scientists, engineers, programmers, writers, artists, filmmakers, music producers, musicians and the list goes on. It’s my goal to help flood the work force with the next generation of women. So when you support City Tails, you’re also supporting Kid Creative SF. Simply put, this project is the women of my generation coming together to support the young girls, trans and non-binary youth of the next generation through creative writing and filmmaking.
